Our events team have a wealth of experience putting together spectacular functions for both corporate and private parties. The venue can hold in excess of 200 for a cocktail & canapé event or 120 for a full sit down dinner. The venue can also be exclusively hired for an evening or daytime event if you require.

Our functions team is highly skilled in events production & can assist you with any request to make your event stand out. Our professionally trained staff take great pride in offering the highest quality of service.

Our events team also has access to an array of entertainment packages to suit your needs, from Cuban dancers to a full band, salsa classes, instructors and top Latin Dj’s. Our team is here to assist you in making your event as memorable and unique as possible.

Live band

Our house band can be organised to perform for you live at your function & will consist of up to a trio who will play a selection of Cuban classics along with more modern Latin music. Please note that charges for this entertainment will vary.

Cigar tasting session (20-60 minutes)

What visit to The Cuban Place would be complete without a Cuban cigar on our very own balcony? Cigar selections can be tailored to suit your needs. We can arrange to have one of our cigar aficionados come and talk you through our wonderful collection. (All cigars stocked at The Cuban Place are 100% Cuban)


For all companies who are holding a private function and require a projector and screen we will be happy to provide these free of charge along with microphones and our PA system.

The Cuban Place is renowned as the home of the Mojito and what party would be complete without a couple of cocktails.
Our drink menus have an array of classic rum cocktails along with a fine selection of wines from Spain, Chile & Argentina as well as vintage champagne. If all that is not making you thirsty enough, we also have the largest selection of rum in NSW.

Our events team will be happy to work with you to put together a beverage package to cater to your group’s specific requirements. Customised bar tabs are also available. Please note that we adhere to a strict RSA policy at all times.

Booking your event

  • Enquire with us for availability & specifications of your desired date, time & requirements.
  • Decide on the menu style, beverage selections, size of your event, venue space required & any additional requirements.
  • A confirmation deposit is required in advance to secure the function date & venue space.

Once we have discussed your requirements, we will develop a quote based on your individual requests. Please note that specific days of the week and/or times of the year do effect availability & price quotes for event enquires. We can accommodate changes to the original quote, however any dramatic changes that occur to either the quoted menu or number of guests attending, may result in a re-evaluation of the original quote.

Weekend functions & venue hire

All functions incur a 10% service surcharge. Functions & events held on Sundays, public holidays or outside of normal trading hours incur an additional 5% loading charge. Venue hire fee is assessed dependent upon individual event requirements.

Deposit & confirmation

To confirm your booking we will require a percentage deposit of the total quoted price, payable upon booking the event or a minimum of two weeks in advance. Your booking cannot be guaranteed without this deposit. Final payments after the event will be assessed on their individual circumstances the day of or the day following the event. Post payment may only apply to groups of over 100.

How to pay

Payments can be made by direct debit (EFT), credit card, bank cheque or cash.


If you need to cancel your event, the following conditions apply: Any corporate or private event cancelling within 10 days prior to the scheduled date will incur a 100% loss of deposit. In the instance of us cancelling your event a full refund will apply.
